ZIUR in a conference aimed at manufacturers of connected medical devices
Together with Alias Robotics, ZIUR held a cybersecurity conference, which took place at BIC Gipuzkoa, with the aim of addressing the regulatory framework related to cybersecurity applicable to the manufacture of connected devices for the biomedical industry.
The Technical Director of ZIUR, María Penilla, and the CTO of Alias Robotics, Unai Ayucar, have presented the cybersecurity regulations, standards and certifications applicable to the manufacture of devices for the biomedical industry.
In this sense, Unai Ayucar has presented the current panorama in relation to current certifications and regulations in the biomedical sector and connected medical devices. Likewise, he has given the keys to successfully approach a cybersecurity certification in the sector of connected medical devices, and has talked about how to approach, with a global vision, the processes of improving the cybersecurity of these products.
Likewise, María Penilla has presented the most specific cybersecurity certifications for the biomedical sector, and has reinforced the message launched by Alias Robotics, of how cybersecurity is about carrying out correct risk management of the company, services and connected devices.
Lastly, María Penilla presented the ZIUR projects made available to companies in the sector, with the aim of helping them improve their maturity in cybersecurity.
