ZIUR designs a conference on Disaster Recovery and remote maintenance in OT environments
In its work to identify the cybersecurity needs of companies in Gipuzkoa, ZIUR Fundazioa realized that it was important for the sector to delve into how to approach backup and disaster recovery strategies, version control and remote maintenance in production environments. For this reason, he designed a practical workshop in which he presented different specific market solutions for the industry, which cover all these relevant aspects.
The workshop, called 'Disaster Recovery and remote maintenance in OT environments', took place on April 5 at the Cibcom Technologies company facilities, within the Elektra Group's 'Life Evolution' space, in Donostia. The training was carried out both in person and online, through the CISCO Webex platform.
ZIUR's technical director, María Penilla, was in charge of presenting this conference, in which she was accompanied by Ekaitz García and Gorka Alkorta, industrial communications consultants at CibcomTech. The objectives of this workshop focused on presenting VPN solutions for connections to Siemens and Schneider PLCs; those of 'backup' and recovery of Siemens devices through different techniques and those of version control and 'backup' of VersionDog.
Through this workshop, the organizations and Vocational Training centers that participated were able to understand the different strategies that exist in the current market when it comes to proposing solutions for both remote maintenance in OT environments and version control and backup processes.
