ZIUR was present at the XVI edition of ENISE (International Meeting on Information Security), a benchmark meeting in the cybersecurity sector that took place at the León Exhibition Center on October 19 and 20. Koldo Peciña, general director of ZIUR, and María Penilla, technical director of the Gipuzkoa Industrial Cybersecurity Center, together with Iker Izaguirre and Ane E., represented ZIUR at an unmissable event with international cybersecurity that hosted the latest innovations and trends in the sector.
The figures of the event show its magnitude. More than 80 companies present, 75 national and international speakers, more than 4,000 participants from 21 countries (2,400 face-to-face and 1,600 via streaming) and 82 commercial and institutional stands made León the capital of cybersecurity for two days, a sector that moves annually 2,000 million euros and to which the government, according to the Secretary of State, Carme Artigas, who opened the event, will allocate 156 million in 2023.
The different presentations addressed cybersecurity from multiple perspectives, although the main companies and organizations in the sector underlined the importance of committing to public-private collaboration to increase the effectiveness of the fight against cyberattacks. The general director of INCIBE (National Cybersecurity Institute), organizer of the event, rounded off the conference by delving into the idea that "cybersecurity will continue to be fundamental in digital transformation".
