ZIUR debates on cybersecurity certification
ZIUR, the Industrial Cybersecurity Center of Gipuzkoa, participated on March 6 in the 'Cybersecurity Certification' conference, organized by Ingeniariak and Acelera Pyme in San Sebastián. In the session, the challenges and opportunities of the new regulations that come from Europe and that companies will have to apply this year and next were raised.
Specifically, during this year the CRA published in December 2023 will be implemented, which will fully impact industrial processes and products. In addition, the Cyber Resilience Law will highlight other regulations that are based on it, among which the IEC62443 and, transversally, the REC regulations stand out.
The director of ZIUR, María Penilla, participated in the round table on the challenges that these standards will reveal in the manufacturing industry. In this talk, experts from technology companies such as ORBIK Cybersecurity, SAVVY DATA SYSTEMS and iLine Microsystems, and knowledge centers such as the UPV/EHU, also debated, who contributed their vision from the regulatory, certification, product development and laboratory fields. cybersecurity.
