ZIUR obtains ENS certification as a public sphere cybersecurity center
The National Cryptological Center (CCN) certifies that the Gipuzkoa Industrial Cybersecurity Center complies with the standards that the new regulations require in terms of security in the use of electronic means related to public administration
The Gipuzkoa Industrial Cybersecurity Center, ZIUR, has passed the necessary requirements to obtain the National Security Scheme (ENS) certification issued by the National Cryptology Center (CNN). The ENS is a regulation that aims to establish the security policy in the use of electronic media related to public administration, and is made up of basic principles and minimum requirements that allow adequate protection of information.
The objective pursued by CNN with these certifications is that all public entities have secure systems for the exercise of their powers, regardless of their size. And to this end, it has set the date of May 5, 2024 as the deadline for all public administrations to comply with the new ENS.
In this way, the CCN has certified that, according to the current applicability declaration, ZIUR's information systems, as well as related services, have been audited and found to comply with the requirements of the Royal Decree of 2022 that regulates the Scheme. National Security (ENS). Among other things, it certifies that ZIUR complies with standards regarding Privacy, Security and Business Continuity, including the GDPR.
