ZIUR participates in CiberAgua2024
ZIUR participated on the 24th in the first edition of CiberAgua 2024, an event organized by the Bilbao Bizkaia Water Consortium, in collaboration with Ibermática Fundazioa, which took place at the BAT Tower in Bilbao. This event brought together experts in the areas of engineering, programming, networks, security and legal framework and served to share knowledge and experiences around cybersecurity in the water sector, an essential resource.
CiberAgua2024 analyzed the cyber threats faced by water managers and discovered how to protect their critical assets and how to guarantee the most vital resource for everyone, that is, water.
The general director of ZIUR, María Penilla, participated in the sectoral table titled 'Cybersecurity Dialogue for a safe digital ecosystem'. This talk was moderated by José Valiente, director and head of coordination of the Industrial Cybersecurity Center, and Javier Diéguez, managing director at Cyberzaintza, and Asier Erkoreka, director of Security coordination of the Cybersecurity department of the Basque Government, also took part.
