The director of ZIUR participates in the Grupo Noticias cybersecurity webinar
Under the title 'Cybersecurity, the need to protect yourself online', Koldo Peciña, director of ZIUR, participated in the webinar 'Axes of our economy' by Grupo Noticias, together with Azucena Hernández, CEO of Eurocybcar, and Salva Trujillo, responsible of the Ikerlan industrial cybersecurity department. This conference tried to publicize everything related to the benefits of cybersecurity as a tool to protect oneself.
Peciña assured that all areas are prone to cyberattacks, from "domestic, professional, industrial or financial". “When we are connected we have the risk of being victims of any type of threat or attack. These risks must be managed and worked on”, assured the director of ZIUR. In this sense, he stated that companies "are very used to buying the best machine, but not investing or managing cybersecurity", so they must move forward on this path.
The director of ZIUR recalled that the center collaborates with Gipuzkoan industrial companies so that they design their products safely and can try and test them in his laboratory. "They must take the step of designing their products safely to be competitive," he insisted.
