The objective of the journey is to contribute to improving the level of cyber security of the industrial fabric of the region
ZIUR has delivered a cybersecurity workshop to more than a dozen representatives of small industrial companies in Urola Erdia. With the collaboration of the Iraurgi Berritzen agency, the meeting held in Azpeitia served to reflect on cyber security issues and share practical protection measures for organizations.
Faced with the increase in cyberattacks, it is vital to implement robust protection measures that include regular software updates, the use of secure passwords and the implementation of firewalls, antivirus and other security solutions.Cybersecurity training and the creation of incident response plans are also crucial to mitigating risks.
Asimismo, the cybersecurity experts from ZIUR, Iñaki Torrecilla and Markel Gómez, presented a map of cybercrime to a decade of professionals and explained the most common risks that can be faced. Following this contextualization of the current panorama, basic concepts, security strategies, and a decalogue of good practices are shared.
To conclude, a debate was promoted between assistants, mostly managers and administrative staff, who shared their experiences.
