ZIUR attended a conference on cyber risk management organized by AON
The cybersecurity conference held at the University of Deusto featured an insurance industry perspective
ZIUR, the Gipuzkoa Industrial Cybersecurity Center, attended the conference "Cybersecurity and Cyber Risk Management in Your Company" this morning, organized by AON and Deusto Business Alumni in Bilbao. A dozen professionals from the legal and insurance fields, as well as from cybersecurity and engineering specializing in cyber forensics, offered their perspective on the current cyber risk landscape in Spain, from an insurance perspective.
Foundation experts Iñaki Torrecilla and Markel Gómez discussed the most relevant trends in cybersecurity, emerging risks, claims management, regulatory framework review, and applicable NIS2 and DORA sanctions, with the help of a panel of experts from organizations such as AON, Darkdata, Irontec, Zurich, QBE, Faes Farma, Resilience, Surne Seguros, and Ecija Abogados.
The event, part of AON's Cyber Camps 2025, focused on the "Annual Study of Cybersecurity and Cyber Risk Management in Spain," a benchmark report from this risk management consultancy that compiles the main trends and emerging risks in the field of cybersecurity.
