ZIUR at the QA&TEST Security and Cybersecurity conference
ZIUR participated on April 27 in a technical meeting held in Madrid, in which the Gipuzkoan industrial cybersecurity center presented the latest advances in its OT cybersecurity projects. The event, organized by SQS, was attended by a dozen entities from different sectors and countries, including Cylus, Fortinet, Gupta Consulting, TÜV Süd, Arteche and Limes Security.
On the first day of the QA&Test conference, different aspects of cybersecurity in the life cycle of railway and medical product development were addressed, and cybersecurity in FAT/SAT tests was discussed. In addition, cybersecurity defense techniques in security domains were addressed, specifically "defense in depth" for embedded systems; the safety and security aspects for UAVs and how to target the attack surface to improve the security of web applications.
On the second day, on the other hand, the concept of security was addressed as opposed to security in the automotive domain, and the practical section on industrial security and cybersecurity was opened, where María Penilla, ZIUR's technical director, intervened.
María Penilla highlighted the work carried out by ZIUR and moderated the section on IEC 62443 certifications, in which a practical case was presented on experiences with IEC 62443 and the design and testing of security capabilities according to IEC 62443 was addressed. , among other things.
